No Miss Piggy is not making a guest apperance.
OK so I've been helping my friend Level up in Priveteer since he dropped Imp pilot and I need the xp and it is more fun to grind with a friend. Anyway we're working on his Jabba tier 3 mission2 waiting for the right ship to spawn so we can disabl;e scan and dock. This player comes out of hyperspace flys towards us and starts fireing on me. When I don't respond he he turns on my friend who also ignores him so he flies away. More ships spawn so we set about disabling them with this guy in close pursuit but he isn't acctually shooting.
I send a tell asking if there was something we could help him with but was ignored. He then starts yelling over spatial that this is his mission and we should let him complete it so I sent him a tell saying that it was my friends as well and that I was there helping him. He then sends a spatial demanding how it was. I being confused about that responce itgnored him. So it went till we finally disable the right ship and he swoops in a steals the cargo from my friend and then flies away with out a word.
Just be aware of his guy his name was Plakoth yes I am calling him out yes I sent tells demanding to know just who he thought he was and have added him to ignore, just want to make the rest of the priveteer comunity aware of him.

its possible he did have the same mission. on those disable and dock missions, the target isnt allways instanced to where only your group can damage it. but on the spawns like that the ship usualy hypers back in just a couple seconds from when it gets captured/wasted. he may have been trying to get the cargo for alot longer than you were, and just got frustrated when after all the waiting/trying someone else shows up and started to take it from him. you should have grouped and done the missions together.

I don't doubt that he had the mission at all. My problem comes from him comeing in 5 mins after we start and waiting till we disable the ship and then docking with it before my friend can.

I've seen this a few times, on my missions like this and on my friends. Problem is you can spend up to 45 minutes waiting for the right ship, at that point in time people who are unaware that this is a non-instanced mission get really upset. Had two guys ignore me, one that I talked to softened up once I explained everything and got in cue, further explaining the mission to others who had arrived and we just had a big camp out.
If this is the worst of the mission ganking, be happy, it was alot worse.

They could at least code it so that the only person or people who can dock with a ship is/are the person/group who disabled it.

I know exactly the mission you mean. It's a waypoint given to a natural spawn, not one spawned specifically for the mission, so it's a free for all. Just be glad they increased the rate of the proper cargo, when I did it I was out there most of an hour, not from competition, but because every dang ship had deathstick ashes.

Definitely just sounds like he was having a rough go with trying missions solo and his aggrivation got the better of him. I know in beta I used to spam /shout 'leave me spawns alone!" and things like that when I was omw to a target(s), before mission targets were only killable by the mission holder/group.
Take him off ignore, give him a tell tonight to see if you three can work together and I bet you make a new friend.

You're not being very considerate to Pigs. They have feelngs too, yet peopleuse them to refer to something rude done by a human. You should change the title to Rude People in Space or something, before a group of militant Pigscome after you.

In those non instanced areas rather than being obnoxious in spatial he should have just wated his turn. That is simple enough. You werent there camping and killing you were helping a friend so that guy just needs to get a clue and grow up
There is no reason for you to have to group with an idiot either. Just tell him you are helping a friend with the same mission and since it is not instanced he will have to wait for the next spawn after your friendfinds whathe needs.

he may have been there long before, and was just flying around trying to find the bloddy ship. Peace and happiness...
