Thread: The Rebel Station in Deep Space is NOT bugged
You imperials keep thinking that's a bug.
It's not.
The rebel station in Deep Space contracted with Daxx Industries for the latest in defense shield technology. We provided them with a hybrid Cloaking-Poof-O-Shield. It's the latest from the Advanced Shield Technology division at Daxx Industries.
The shield basically absorbs blaster fire and funnels it into the station's power supply. Excess power is shed through the gun emplacements. That's why you figure blasters or missiles aren't doing any damage. Technically, they are, although we add it to our power. Thank you very much. Our power bill last month was almost zero.
You think the subsystems aren't targeting because of a bug? Not so. It's the latest in quasi-cloaking technology from the Advanced Cloaking Division of Daxx Industries. You can't target the subsystems because your targeting scanner's energy is being absorbed and added to our power cells. Targeting scans are currently powering most of the lights in our Disco. The two people still using the Disco send their thanks.
Coming out soon is our Magneto-Tractor-Shielding technology, direct from the Advanced Magneto Division of Daxx Industries. Once installed, any Imperial ships coming within 200m of the station will be Magneto-Tractored to the station itself, where the ship's subatomic structure will be fused to the station, thereby assimilating Imperial ships into its structure and growing the station. We may, from time to time, issuea request for specific types of Imperial ships to attack the station, based on current needs for expansion. Please stay tuned and follow your given vectors closely.
Last but not least, we are currently installing the new Broadband-Epulse-Repulsor-System into the Rebel Station. From the inventors of the famous Epulse technology, the Advanced Killbutton Division of Daxx Industries is proud to announce its station-sized Epulse technology. Guaranteed to fry any electronics or avionics to a distance of 720m from the station, this system will be sure to impress Imperials with its sheer genius in design.
So, stop reporting these supposed "bugs" and start recognizing the technology genius of Daxx Industries, the most trusted name in the Galaxy.

You think that scares us at Daxx Industries? We will just turn this over to our Advanced SmackTalk Division.

Don't make the same mistake TransGalMeg made. They were made an offer they couldn't refuse...but they did.
Now the Black Suns are suffering for their interference.
Captain: "Okay, lets just head to the designated co-ordinates on our own as ordered"
XO: "What if the rebels follow us sir?, shouldnt we turn back and anihilate them? it's only one guy in a a-wing, we could own his a$$ with a couple of shots from the rear gunner if you'd just let us turn round a little"
Captain: "No I have my orders from the emporer himself we should continue, in a straight line, until we reach our destination"
XO: "Very good sir, and when we reach that sector we should jump back to the fleet for de-briefing?"
Captain: "No lets just spin the ship 360 degrees in the middle of space"
XO: "Is that wise sir? the rebels could return and destroy us"
Captain: "Hmm.. no we should be okay, they'll never suspect two imperial gunboat captains could be stupid enough to circle 360 degrees in the middle of space, it'll be the last thing they expect...oh and make sure the other gunboat keeps bumping into us all the time, It's standard imperial procedure after all"

LOL. Reminds me of the Gunboat captain escorting the vette. "Let's spin at the exit point instead of hyperspacing out."
Here it is - be thankful I didn't necro the entire post:
XO: "Sir, long range scan reports the corvette we are escorting has been destroyed"
Captain: "Okay, lets just head to the designated co-ordinates on our own as ordered"
