Alright. First and formost, hello to everyone on the forums, you'll probly see me posting here alot more.

I'm new to SWG, I've been playing it less then a week now.. Originally my main galaxy was Corbantis, but now I'm on Intrepid.

But I digress from my problem.

Alright, my problem is as follows:

I moved to intrepid because a friend of mine asked me to, and to keep it short, I did.As I previously had a character on the server, who was still intact, I decided to use him. He was currently an Imperial, but my friend convinced me to switch to rebel, so I did. I went to the Rebel trainer on Moenia, Naboo, and Finished all the Tier 1 missons, got to a level 1/1/1/1 pilot, and now I'm to go to Dantooine and talk to the next trainer. My only problem is this: When I get to the Abandoned Rebel Base, when I go to enter it, it says "Access Denied. You Must Be A Member Of The Rebel Alliance To Enter."

I've searched around the base, and I can't find Brother Vrovel (The Rebel Trainer) anywhere, so I assume he's in there. Now, I don't know what's going on.. Maybe I need to sign up with the alliance somehow? or is the fact I was an imperial screwing everything up? I really don't know.

If someone could give me any insight at all to how to solve this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry if this question has a totally obvious awnser, but I'm currently stumped, so I'm asking anyone for help.

Thanks in advance,

-Iato-

Details:

1) How many Rebel Faction-points do you have?
2) Are you currently a covert or overt Rebel?
3) Are you currently a covert or overt Imperial?

I currently have 200 Rebel faction points.. but I also have 200 imperial.
I'm not sure weither i'm covert or overt rebel, i just signed up..so I guess to my knowledge overt, seeing as how stormtroopers have attacked me before.

And i've removed my imperial pilot skill, I thought that unlisted me from the empire...

so do I need more faction points?

If you are a member of the Rebel Alliance ground faction (You can do a quick check by opening your character sheet [ctrl+c default] and looking above the two Rebel+Imperial faction meters), you should be able to enter as far as I know.

The only other possibility is that you may have to do the Rebel themepark, since some of the later missions are based from the Dantooine base.

I'd wait for some more informed responses if I were you

You need to do the Rebel theme park or do the space mission for access.

The space mission is only for landing rights, not access to the building.

If you are a member of the Alliance (not just an alliance pilot) you can get in the building. Positive Imperial faction doesnt matter.

PS if you plan to post a lot, know that dark blue text like that stinks for those of use with black forum backgrounds.

Just make sure to go to a normal faction recruiter (can often be found in cantinas, don't remember if you can sign up for ground from a space trainer) and to sign up for the Rebel Alliance. Space faction doesn't matter, just the ground faction.

You may also want to double check that you have "resigned" (that option) from the Empire with an Imperial recruiter. Go try to converse with one, and if he gives you options instead of calling you a scumbag or some such, you still need to resign. Don't think having positive Imp FP should cause any issues as long as you have formally "joined" the Rebellion and are a covert Reb.

I think he says it all for ya - just make sure you do those 2 things - resign from the empire, and then talk to a reb recruiter to 'sign up' with the rebellion, just don't go overt, or you'll never get out of a starport alive...lol (I just got pwn'd yesterday while trying to launch overt). If you're stil having trouble, do a couple of ground missions from a rebel mission term until you have negative imp faction and see if that helps.

If you're rebel on the ground, you should be able to get into the building regardless of how much themepark (TP) you've done. If you haven't gotten up to the level of the Dant base in the TP, Ackbar just won't give you missions.

I think it sounds like a bug, assuming you're a rebel on the ground...
