Yup, you heard right. Was farming Red Skulls, and sure enough, I looted a smuggler component? Is this normal?

I wouldn't even call it too rare--though why pilots are carrying illegal core boosters and reactive micro platings in their cockpits is beyond me.

seriously, Pace or anyone try this?? I have looted a total of 6 smuggler components in spacesince October 1st. I wonder if Smugglers can slice ship weapons/shields/armor??? Some smuggler content they stealth slipped in??


doubtful, but worth a shot if anyone knows a smuggler

that might be interesting but no... that was a joke. I don't think that anything like that will be ever be implemented.

Smuggler slicing components were added to pirates and mercs in space after we argued it made sense for them to have them and it was a good way for smugglers of a different playstyle to still be able to participate in slicing.

Then came the whole BH missions thing, which kind of trivialized things. But it was a great addition at the time.

I actually looted 2 Illegal core boosters within an hour.


1 from a pirate in Kashyyyk space, and 1 from an asteroid bandit.
