I finally get the y-8 i load it up and launch it and i guess i must have loaded blast shields! I cannot see out the front windows either in the pilots char or standing on the main bridge. If i enter the operations stations i am elevated up but can see out. the turrets are fine.

Anyone else have this problem?

Now once i get to see out them i have to figure out wich weapon slot goes where seems i have them messed up.

it's a bug.

just fly in 3rd person mode

Yep it's a bug, the Y-8 and Nova both have it

so any workaround or just have to wait more? i mean i cant even pilot it since i cant see when in the pilot char

We have to wait for a hotfix I guess. Haven't heard of any work around

The only workaround is to zoom out and fly 3rd person.

Wait for a hot-fix... The y-8 quest first got fixed so we could actually drop items in it... But we couldn't move em up or down...
Then they fixed so we could move em up and down... This took about six months for them to do... Then they took away all the windows, even though it's probably just a tiny little parameter somewhere in a graphic setting for a dev to change, it's probably gonna take a couple of hot-fixes for it to get fixed...

And i'm sure that when they fix this, they will somehow make the turrets inaccesible
