Well, I don't have any tips right away, but I can certainly say that I'm in! I believe my guild (Tranquility Pointe)can supply a crew to fight for the rebels. Could pilots offer some advice on a "POB Faction Battle" a very goodorganiser on our server at Tempest is trying to get something going in space, anyone trieda similar event ? was thinking about 10 imp vs 10 rebs each with a full crew.A starting waypoint (as though weve all just hyper spaced in, and a finishing waypoint for both sides , the flight paths cross and the battle starts, your suggestions here.

Weres the best place, lag free, (without asteroids which seem to lag me bigtime), We need to make it last as long as we can so it more fun, maybe limiting weaponpowerup commands, no escorts (that could be a different battle) and no missiles?

i thought POB ships would be best then the low tier, none pilots and aces can all get involved, fun for all the family!, are there any limitations on tier been part of a POB crew? any advice tips appreciated.

Radiant has had some success with events like this. We fought in Deepspace to avoid decay and used only level 1 blasters to keep the fights going for a while before the POB revamp. Was probably the most fun I had in space for a long time.

Once both sides are set they head into battle, it helps to have a agreed upon ace in a fighter around to take out the random tier 5's that might attack. Even with level 1 guns we managed to drop a wayward ship before the revamp, poor sucker didn't know what was going on when a YT and 4 Nova's came barreling after him.
