I got hit with the mission complete from doing a patrol too fast bug this morning. And now my trainer is back to offering me duties. I'm really not in the mood to grind out a million XP sans plot, and I kind of want my reward gun. I've tried taking the duty, blowing up a few ships, and heading back to Naboo, and that didn't help. I tried logging out and back in, and that didn't help either. Is there any way to get this guy to give me my actual mission, or is it just complete (no reward for it, though), and that's the end?

I think that try at it is gone. Next time you train though he will give you the same mission, and I think the first reward for completeing it. You will miss out on either the first or last reward component though.

Hopefully it's the last reward you will miss. Thats the level 8 reactor thats really not worth the mass. The first 2 Imp rewards are the only ones I think are worth anything though. The Boltdriver blaster and the level 8 shield.

I hope I don't miss out on the blaster. My Scorcher 3 is nice, but the little white dot effect looks much better on an X-wing or Z95. Firing it from right below where I am sitting is creating a rather annoying strobe light effect that not only ruins my aim, but starts to give me a headache after about half an hour.

From personal experience I can tell you that you will not have todo the 4th (usually toughest) mission and will not receive the reactor. So the boltdriver will be yours if you fly a bit slower.

I can get into that. Now I just need to motivate myself to do that damnable grind again. Oh how I cannot wait to finish this prof and move on to CorSec. Once those two are done, grinding is all but a distant memory, since my missions should net me enough XP to not have to actually grind more than a couple of ships.
