Thread: Privateer Ace Jacket!!! ... but not for you wookiees.

So here you are, Admiral Burke, hearing about this privateer pilot that's been busting up imperial aces and you think, "I've got to hire this guy!"

You contact him through various underground sources and he shows up at your hotel. Lo and behold, it's a wookiee. You overcome your initial concerns about what you've heard about wookiees and hire him to kill a significant number of imperial ships in Kessel. You probably think there's not much chance of him coming back, but you order a Privateer Ace Jacket just in case.

The wookiee returns victorious. You reach into your goodie bag and there's the jacket, but it's obvious there's no way this wookiee's going to fit into it. Do you:

a. Give the wookiee the jacket and a free coupon to have it altered?

b. Give the wookiee the jacket and hope he doesn't rip your arms off when he sees that you got one that fits a human?

c. Tell the wookiee that your supplier screwed up and got you the wrong jacket but promise him the right sized one when it comes in?

d. Make some rude jesture to the wookiee and brace yourself for death?

Unfortunately, the game chooses "b". This time, the admiral survived with all his limbs intact, but who's to say what the next wookiee pilot might do. Someone needs to get in touch with the Privateer Ace Jacket supplier and get them to pattern a variety of that jacket to fit Wookiees and Ithorians too I imagine (though I can't imagine an Ithorian ripping anyone's arms off).

Until then, there's a privateer ace that will go around unrecognized and feeling unappreciated. Just be careful not to question wookiee piloting abilities 'cause that might just be a sore spot.

I might mention at this time that wookiees aren't supposed to be wearing clothes at all. Although I will say that I'm not entirely sure how my alt survives in her TIE Fighter. Twi'leks can't wear helmets, and aren't those things kind of lacking in life support systems?

I think Wookiees luck out. They have an excuse for not wearing the grey Stay-Puft jacket in public.

Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came but just the same I must be going.

I feel sorry for all those people that made wookies. It sucks that all most all of the clothing in the game will not fit them. But then again I like all my clothing options, heck I think I could fill one house with just all the clothing that I have.

One of my wookie friends did the clone armor quest and then bio-linked some of the armor not knowing that he could not use any of it.

Wookiees can wear the clone armor.

Well, about what to wear, I'd even prefer a Privateer Ace Sash for wookiees. Just dislike the complete disregard for rewarding wookiees.

Odd he told me that he was getting error msg's while trying to do it. Can they use all of it? Or just parts of it?

No worries. I am sure plans are already in the works to give Wookieessomething for M Pilot. Who knows, they might even put the same creative minds on it who designed the Wookiee Armor. The geniuses will likely carve out a tree stump then give it to you and say, "Enjoy your Barc Helmet pilot."

I am a very angry imperial Ithorian!!! Why?

1. I do NOT get a tie pilot uniform. What do I get instead is a Mercenary Bandolier. BUT, is it the one you can store stuff in??? NO, it is some crappy one you can buy on the bazaar!

2. I get a Tie Pilot helm! I cannot wear it!

3. I get a Master Helm! I cannot wear it!!

The wookies get the mercenary Bando BUT they canput stuff in theirs! (we can wear the jacket though but I would prefer a usable bando or a wearable helm instead)

Ugh... adding injury to insult... I decided I should at least put my jacket on display in my house, but the polys are only textured on the outside, so if I face it forward you can see the wall through it. I wonder if it will fetch a decent price on a vendor...

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't you aslo recieve and wearable medal that's display your Master Pilot status? Or is that too unwearable by wookies?
