Thread: When to use ePulse (3) ?
Replies are greatly appreciated.
I use /epulse3 on a regular basis. Think of it as a grenade. The higher energy reserves to the sheilds and cap the more damage you do. Get in close to use it. I have taken out 9 tier two ships with it at once with this attack. However at the end of it your cap and sheilds are drained leaving you pretty defenseless for a few sec.
As a matter of fact I have a strike ship dedicated to the task. Its that funky rirykere(....cough....nickel...see I said the words) ship with 3.2ksheilds and a weapon cap overcharge3 pool of around 3k or so. I move that thing into position and BLAM!!!!. Thats about all its good for as the rest of the weight was allocated to engines, boosters,and armor so I could make a second pass as soon as Iam able. With that puppy you can heavilly damage a teir5 gunboat. Think of it as a kamikazee tactical nuclear device.
ePulse always seem sos unreliable for me. I can't use it as a Last Ditch, because the power is dependent on your Shield and Cap power.
The Kamikaze thing dosen't sound so bad actually. Cap Overload 4, ePulse 3 FTW
