Love that mission. I soloed way back when, with no droid overloads, just rebel shield progs. Basically, you can get past the first leg by focusing entirely on the leader. Target weapon1, take it out, then blow him up. Since the next leg kicks in instantly I ran like hell instead of staying and dealing with the escort, but it was just mop up. Cap to shield shunt would get you through it in even batter shape than what I did. If you need to, get some practice against TIE Aggies, by playing with the spawns in Endor or Dathomir. Practice chasing them, but sliding around behind them while you shoot so that the turret doesnt holda solid lock. If you need to while chasing him, drift outside him during a turn, the turret doesnt shoot below his midline.
