Yes just go back to your tir 4 pilot trainer. You can also get duty missions from the Space stations.

Yes, go to kessel. You will need to fly around a bit, but there are always good reb vs imp battles going on. Everything there is tier 5. If your imp or neutralthen go after the rebel gun boats, good xp, and a big blind spot just below and behind them.
