Thread: Vette spawn timer TOO LONG!

Is there any way we can try and talk to the dev's to get it reduced to maybe an hour? That's still a long time but the entire 'go check the despawn to make sure it's clean, then wait... and wait.... and wait some more... then wait some more....' is just too much. ESPECIALLY if someone fails the mission to blow it up.

Anyone agree with me?

well, while you guys were replying, it spawned again..... but i died and someone else blew it up. so now i have to wait again.

total time spent thus far: 6.5 hours.
time until next spawn: 1 hour and 45mins.

I would be more content if they just fixed that exit point problem with the Gunships.

Another idea would be to give a system message to players who have the mission that the faction is picking up long range scans that an enemy corvette is entering the system.

The long wait can be annoying, but if they fix the bugs... then it can generally be better off.

After this weekends wasted hours cos someone left the gunboats at the exit point I couldn't agree more.

It's got to the stage that upon entering kessel I automatically head to the exit point now and clear them, even if i'm not going for the vette myself, just cos it annoys me so much.

i'm fine with the spawn time.


but i would like to see a few changes.


1) this was allready mentioned in this thread: a message alerting us when the enemy vette enters the area.


2) make all the escorts count as part of the mission. no mission complete statement unless you kill off the entire escort.

Small correction: No mission complete statement until the entire escort is dead. You wouldn't want to fail because someone not in your group kills part of the escort right?

agreed. last thing we want is someone not in the group deciding to kill off one of them just to keep you from getting the mission complete message.
