Thread: Not Another Flight Helmet Post

When are devs going to give the rebels our flight helmets? I am not holding you responsible for what the devs do, I am just curious if you had gotten any word if or when this will be added.
I remember in the beta forums that we had a post of 1,400+ stickied to the top of the forum requesting that the devs put in the rebel helmet. Why has it gone silent? Please speak up rebel brothers this should not go the way of the Imperial hat where we get it a year later, we should of gotten one at tier 1 pilot like all the imperial pilots did. The other 2 pilot Prof. got a unique item for there tier 1 reward all that we got was a craftable flight suit, this makes no sence to me.
Posible solutions:
complete the flight helm and make it obtainable from any trainer. Also replacements should be available from any trainer which they also give color optionsfor the gear, you can only see so much orange before you think your in a prison camp. the trainers should charge for the replacements, hey devs another credit sink.
create a chest rebreather box this would satisfie me for a while and make rebel pilots look more like they did in the movies. this wouldn't be very hard to do since the model is in game already on the tie fighters helm. All the art department would need to do is remove the helm and hoses from the box, and retexture it with a white or grey color heck you could even keep it black. then make it into a necklace location and your done.

Of course the Rebel Flight Helmet cannot do this, since it leaves the mouth exposed. This leads to some dilemmas as the art team has to try and make it fit wierd-shaped heads, such as Mon Calamarian ones.
The workaround for this would be to just make it available to those with humanoid heads, but this would likely put the Devs under a lot of fire from Wookiees, Ithorians etc; who would state that the Rebellion is not a discriminatory group unlike the Empire.
They're damned if they do, and they're damned if they don't.
Of course all this is just a guess, it could be a completly different can of worms.

? I find that hard to believe. Explain the:
Swoopers Helmet, Marabi, Bone, Rebel Commando Helmet, Head Wraps. Theres no excuse. If they were really concerned about the game having the "Star Warsy" feel, then so many items would have been in game from the start. SWG is over 1 year old, and JTL comes out just as 1/2 assed as when SWG was released.
As for the other species. They're theadopted exchange students of the Devs. But, at least Ithorians had it better on their day 1 release.

They're just being lazy and not bothering putting them in tbh.
As far as the canon flight helmet from the movies they should only be for humans and other aliens with near human shaped heads, the only races that i think would have a problem wearing human helmets would be Ithorians, Mon cals, And Twileks. all the others could have the classic helm with slight modifications to size for the most part. Ithorian's came into the game with many options on clothing and headgear. Mon Cal's should get a helmet that looks simalar to the marine helm with some sort of eye protection. Twilek's could get a helm that looks somewhat simalar to anikins pod racing helm where the top of the head is covered but the back is open for the tails which are covered in cloth.
