Just curious (being a SW and pilot) if anyone has seen any capacitors better than this, one I RE'd
Lvl 8
Mass: 23k
Energy: 1597
Recharge: 45.2
Post Capacitor Overload 3 Stats:
Energy: 2795
Recharge: 79.1
Post Capacitor Overload 4 (PvP) Stats:
Energy: 3194
Recharge: 90.4
I do have some other nice capacitors, but this seems to be one of my best, others are below but with the capacitor to shield shunt 4 I get a real nice shield boost with this capcitor
Lvl 6
Mass: 8.6k
Energy: 1257
Recharge: 49.3
Lvl 10
Mass: 45k
Energy: 1300
Recharge: 54.3

Personally I would consider the lower 2 as being better caps cause of the recharge times

Thats what I thought, but the top one can support my 3 x lvl 8and 1 x lvl 10 blaster on my Krayt, and the extra boost I can dump into my shields comes in handy.
I use the lvl 8 & the lvl 6 depending on what I'm doing, the lvl 10 is on my YT

The mass/effect ratio makes the L6 the best. A friend of mine actually has an L2 from really early in Live, and the charge was over 50 after RE. I don't have exact numbers since I don't see her that often lately.

The highest L10 I've looted regen-wise was 56.1. It'll RE to 59.4.
Truth be told, unless you're a bad shot or have a hard-on for gunboats, you don't need more than a 45 power/1100 energy cap.

With the new capacitor overload commands being widely available, I've replaced the capacitors on my fighters with RE'd Level 2 caps with 40+ recharge and 1000+ energy. There's just no point to expending that much effort in getting a really nice capacitor when with Cap Overload 3, you've got all the power you need for any encounter.

I looted a level 8 capacitor last night with a recharge rate of 48. I cannot wait to get this puppy RE'd. Now I need to find a level 8 with a high energy level (this one's is 885)

Assuming I correctly understand how reverse engineering works, I have the parts to make a lvl 10 capacitor that should have very similar performance and be considerably lighter. I have one or two parts that have rather poor performance but have extremely low mass (5k to 6k as I recall).

Yes the lvl 6 is RE'd and I love having tons of energy with shunt to shields now as a chip
