Thread: Crafted engines getting nice?

The other day I picked up a Mark V starfighter engine with:
71.5 Pitch
70.5 Yaw
100 Top Speed

Not too shabby for crafted, I thought. Still not something I'd run EO4 with, obviously. Comments?

My RE'd L10 engine has YPR in the mid 80s with 100.3 speed. Crafted engines are fine if you can't get anything better.

I have a crafted MkV engine with 75yp 60something r and 103 top speed. crafted engines are not bad I don't use anything else (I am still working on my nym's RE)

A Mark V with most experimentation in pitch and yaw made with decent resources and no skill tapes. Not bad. The similar configuration I build is 72.5 PY, 60 R, and 100 Spd.

Pace, you'd have to get all amazing experimentation successes to make your engine. Quite exceptional.

My personal best with just Bespin Port and Research Center city was 70/71/64 99.1 speed. A couple amazings helped there.

Pretty decent, but with 2400+ energy drain, not something you can easily use EO4 with.

I wish I could take credit for that... but Tomo made it.

I got lucky with my Nyms level 8 RE. Have been using it exclusively now and cringe everytime I lose a single armor HP on those few occasions I blow up and can't get to DS for full repairs. They can't stay pristine forever though.

Yeah, well I got ripped on my Nym reward. Even the Haor-Chall is better speed than what I got. Even the level 10's I've looted aren't faster than the Haor-Chall. For now I'm stuck in crafted land.

Jebus, you'd need utterly perfect resources to come close. The best I've ever seen on Kettemoor was a 119.3. I personally own a 119.0 and a 119.1.
