Thread: Level 10 Ship Component Drops What's the tip to finding them?

Well, I've been combing over Dathomir but most of the level 10 components I have managed to get have been the Charlie Brown "I got a rock." type of drops. Don't guess any of you wizzies got any good tips on what to hunt in space to hunt to get just a little better drops? I'm at the point that only a rare drop or something RE'ed would improve my YT-1300 or my M22-T Krayt.

Kessel or Deep Space
Kessel is easier, but Deep Space has the no decay if on the off chance you die

Kessel seems to have been nerfed into no drops at all. Haven't tried Deep Space.

I looted two level 10 guns in kessel in the 45 minutes I flew before work today. kessel is still doing fine for me

Still tons of loot in Kessel for me, spent 6 hours and picked up 60 loots, RE'd my blaster to these stats, which are pretty insane, add on Weapon Overload 3 and this just becomes a crazy weapon
Lvl: 10
Mass:40k
Damage: 2.9k - 4.4k
vs Shields: .78
vs Armor: .81
Refire: .34
EPS: 20.1

Guess the question then is what in Kessel are you shooting? Maybe picking on Imperials was the wrong choice.

I'm Neutral I shoot everything, Rebels, Imps, Neutrals, Vettes if itis yellow it gets shot

not bad. one I have done so far was similar
level 10
mass 41k
damage max is 4890.
shields .84
armor .80

I'll go try Kessel again. Last time I was out there, I shot just about everything for several hours. I'm neutral too. And I went home with nothing but a credit chip. Might be Eclipse is justed borked.
Eclipse isn't borked, I regularily get Level 10 components from Kessel. Most of it is from Rebel factioned ships (as I am an Imperial), but I would think it holds true for the others as well.

When i do duty missions (Tier4, killing black sun) There's always some lvl10 loot in my backpack (A few pieces) and some worthy lower lvl loot. And still no helmet!

I looted a level 10 item off a level 3 fighter in Dath (might have been Dant...was a while ago, and I haven't been playing lately)...it was off a Debris Cultist, whichever of those two systems they spawn in
