Thread: y-8's go further bugged this patch too!

the top turrets are borked on the y-8's with this publish.
had couple of friends try this on my ship.
you enter top turret and the scrreen is either completly black or it looks normal but can't move like theres no gun in there. i had a player made tractor beam in top turret. you can toggle it on but it will not turn off nor can you move the turret. the same will happen even with a gun in the top turret.
also if you move the ship with someone in the top turret it will leave them behind floating in space! you can't see them but they see the ship fly off into the distance.
basically the top turret is completly useless. and the with the screen appearing completly blank when entering the turret seems to be a random issue.



just forget about the time line it nolonger exits her hasn't for some time. we're in a virtual star wars universe and it our time line not the movies. so its what we make of this universe ourselves. once this is realized then you'll start having fun

Im having the same problem with my yt-1300. I put 2 heavy gauss cannons in my YT (top & bottom turrets) the top turret works fine. The bottom does not show the turret at all, however I can go into the turret but it is unmoveable.

I think that player crafted tractor beams always did this in the Y-8 top turret. The quest reward tractor beam is reported to work. I have not tried it myself.

the player made one did at first but was fixed used it just before the patch also tried the the reward one same result plus this doesn't explain why it doing it also with a gun or laser mounted up there either or like a friend of minedalso discover like in the above post his bottom turret on the yt-1300 is experiencing the same issues. so far it seems like my nova on the other hand is working fine

i was in a y8 today and the tops turrets work fine

My Y-8 turret is working fine, and crafted and reward tractor beams work in it as well. It still can't actually mine though.....keep shooting that asteroid, but i just keeps takin the pain and not spewin out resources...

As of 1 pm central time, my Y-8 and YT-1300 works fine, turrents work no problem. Now if I could only afford a great engine for the Y-8.

i'll try again haven't been in my y-8 since the latest hot fix this was happening right after pub 23 maybe something to do withthe server problems at thaT TIME

ok just relized the issue i'm having with the top turret happens when using a player crafted tractor beam and only certain re'd guns
