Thread: UGH! I can't texturize my ship
I am able to "texturise" all of my ships at any time and any place, except my Sorrosuub party boat.
just look at your target ship from your datapad and then colour in as you wish with your paint pack. I normally go through loads of paints and textures, just to get my ship exactly right (they all have similar schemes), even when i am just undeeding them for an hour or too!

Gotta love all the unfixed bugs in this game. Sony sure does find time to make an expansion for the love of money grubbin, yet they don't seem to find time to fix the existing game. I guess theres no profit in it.
Anyway, you can have all 6 slots used, and not have to redeed anything to texture your ship. What you do, is take the ship you want to move to slots 1 through 3, and launch it into space. Hyper somewhere, land on another planet, and then just /quit.
Login 5 mins later, and that ship will now be pushed to the top of the stack where it can be textured and painted.

I have never gotten this method to work, personally...I've always had to wait a lot longer than 5 minutes. I suggest taking the ship you want to paint up into space, do whatever you want to do (loot farm, exp, whatever), land, and log for the night. Next time you log in, it should be at the top.
I am not saying Ducimus' method is wrong (because it is correct), but5 minutes has never been enough for it to work for me. I'd venture to say it's more like half an hour. I'm just trying to save you the frustration I have had in the past where I log out, wait, log in (not successful), fly, land, log out, wait, log in, etc.
I wish they would fix this...and get rid of the alternate engine graphic on the YT-1300...and make more of said YT paintable...

What happens is the last ship added to your datapad becomes the first ship in the list. This happens even if you log out without hypering anywhere. My ships are listed in the reverse order that I added them to my datapad. No amount of hypering around and logging out seems to change that either.
worked for me, maybe i did something different that im not remembering.
