nope, you're just trying to loot one item specifically from a loot table with hundreds of items as a possibility. ever notice when you want a lvl 7 gyrotroniscope you never loot one? but when you need that level 5 anti-matter pulse needle, all you loot are gyros...

just the odds being against ya is all... vendor search 4 teh w1n

Hehe thats how I look at it.

Ok I'm logging in now and I'm -not- going to try and loot lvl 10 engines. I really need lvl 9 engines. Yes..please give me lvl 9 engines....(unfortunately reverse psychology with a game doesn't work )

Most Rendili weapons, especially the Rendili Advanced seem to have much lower drop rates than other weapons. If I had to place a guess, I'd say the Rendili drop rate is for some reason about 1/10th that of any other weapon. I have no idea why the devs set it up like this. You would assume that all level 9 guns would have an equal chance of dropping, but after playing JTL since launch, I'm 100% certain that Rendilis have a significantly lower drop rate than most other guns. Out of the 100+ level 9 guns that I have looted, I've never once gotten a Rendili Advanced, plus while usuing the global vendor search for months on end, I have only seen a Rendili advanced for sale once, while at the same time I have seem most other level 9 guns for sale dozens of times each. I know from talking to Tomo that he's also had the same experience.

blarg. Only real reason I want it is for the blue beam effect. It could do 1 min and 2 max and I wouldnt care lol
