Thread: Can't use Missles with Heavy X Wing?

Anyone else had any problems with being able to get a lock with the Heavy X Wing? No matter what I do I can't get a lock. Launcher installed, ammo loaded, got enough energy etc..
Loaded the exact sameparts into a Y Wing Long Probe (Reactor and everything) and getting a lock within seconds.
Tried re-deeding the Heavy X Wing and then generating the ship again and no luck. I just can't use missles on it for some reason. Anyone else had or noticed a problem like this, or is it just me?

Is your missile launcher in a weapon group? (hit g, make sure your launcher is in an ordinance group.) That is the only thing I can think of. My missile launcher works fine in my Heavy X.

Yep, a guildmate had suggested that as well. It's really odd that it won't lock on for whatever reason. I'm going to redeed it again tonight and let it sit for the next server reset and see if maybe that does anything.

had the same problem, but when i went to g it was not in a group, added it to a group and it works great again

I'll double checkg again tonight when I get on. When I checked last time I was a little "unhappy" and it was a little late, so I might not have really paid too much attention to it.

don't just check it go in and reset default then arrange guns as preffered, trust me
