Thread: 5 BlackSun Duty missions down no Helmet.

Well crap, rare drop indeed. I have done 5 BlackSun Duty missions now from start too finish. I have looted many great parts from lvl 1-10 but still not the Prize i seek.

Um, I do blacksun duty missions all the time for loot. I've made master 6 times and after master its always blacksun blacksun blacksun. I do the blacksun duty mission ALL the time...
....and still no helmet.
Its a bummer too because I'd love to cash it in for some major credits.

I had one guy in my squadron pull two in back to back missions. Another pull two the same day. Me..... I've never had one drop no matter how many times I fly the mission.

I alternate duty missions between TIEs and Blacksuns and do a couple of each a week on average (several per day on some days if I'm feeling particularly frisky). TIEs tend to drop good engines, and I can farm FP off em at a rate of nearly 10k an hour... Black Suns tend to drop good guns, and there's always the chance of looting a helmet. So far I've gotten two.
The toon I farm with has about 26-27 million pilot prestige, for frame of reference, roughly split between TIEs and Black Suns. A single duty destroy mission runs about 1 mil prestige. So, at a guess, I've probably looted 2 BS helmets somewhere in the range of 10-15 Black Sun duty missions.

once you hit +20 BS duties

Well, you got to think, How many duty missions have I done while grinding out pilot. How many times I killed a few black sun at the spawns. How often me and my friend have been running his Duty missions. I bet it is getting close. So,
but One thing for sure is I am having fun doing it.

sry for sounding so rude but I got 1st one and sold in on 2nd fighter of 2nd duty as a corsec ace on tarquinas I have since done over 50 duties without one
