Well, I wouldn't want to try it at Novice (though it would do no harm, you just wouldn't have a chance). I'd say at least 2323 in Freelancer or with a heavy, as a bare minimum.

I'd say... 2322, depending on pilot tree.

You are going to need the level 6-7 parts to be even modestly successful.

2323 is what I tell Rebel pilots--that way they can use a heavy Z-95, a level 4 droid, and level 7 parts.
