Thread: How does missle lock work?

not asking how to use missles, but im wondering when does your target get warning? is it just from being "Painted" or is it only after you launch the missle that they get a lock warning?

they get the warning when the missle is fired

If it were on attempting to acquire, I wonder if it would change people's playstyles in PvP ... of course, you should probably assume ANYBODY might have missiles and be ready for it.
