OK, I finally picked up a KSE Firespray and outfitted it from loot and parts on hand (except fot he engine)
The SpaceBall One:
Reactor: MK III (crafted) 7199mass 13988gen
Engine: Kuat Engineering Systems TC-40 24k mass p-78.7 y-72.7 r-71.7 ts-81.6 (re'd I think - no RE number)
Shield: Mk IV (crafted) 17k mass 1909 f/b 11.41 regen
F. Armor: Koensayr Elite Plastisteel 29k mass hp:1541 ar:1541
R. Armor: Kuat Systems EngineeringHandcrafted Durasteel 9k massar:1269 hp:1269
Cap: SubPro Dauntless Z3 28k mass 1238pool 55.6 regen (again, no RE number)
Booster: Koensayr Charged Advanced 49.7rechg 209.1 burn 41.2 accel 31.4 ts
DI: SoroSuub Echelon 1 14k mass 14.2spd
Weapon 1: Borstel Disruptor 38k mass 2387-3692k dam .63 vs S&A 14.1eps and .43refire
Weapon 2: Adv Blaster (I think) 15k mass 1539-2380k Dam .48 vs S&A 25.8eps and .26 refire
currently no ordinance - this is a trial loadout to see if I like it and want to keep it. So far I think I like my Krayt better, with twocrafted blasters as above,Incom Hvy Blaster, and an Incom TT13

not bad for a trial loadout. how much mass are you using with these parts? it seems like you should have alot of room left to play with

if you need the mass, you can RE a level 6/7 to 17ish speed and 4-6k mass if ur lucky. or buy a prenerf.

i'm sure there are better ones on your server, i've mustered up 1500-2700dmg .26. You can also find 3500dmg with .25 refire rates if you browse a bit.

Umm the starmap armor can be RE'd down to around 10k mass easily and would be 2012 ar/hp

Reactor: That one is ok. If you run RO4 you can use a 3300 mass Mark II instead to save some mass.
Engine: Nice pitch, too bad about the yaw. Not a bad engine, definately better PYR than what you'd get with crafted.
Shield: A bit weak for a Firespray. Do you still have your L8 reward shield? RE that, even better. I make my Mark V shields as 38k mass 2200 f/b shields. A lot of mass for only 300 shielding I guess.
Armor: Go with Mark III crafted 5800 mass 1150-1200 armor. If you want heavier, Mark IV is 15k mass 1875ish armor.
DI: Wow that is heavy, use a Mark IV crafted is 14.5ish speed 6700 mass or a Mark III 18ish speed 2600 mass.
Cap: Nice cap, but a bit overkill for a 2-gun ship. Go for an REd L6 for similar energy stats, 45-50 regen, and 7-8k mass A good REd L4 would probably be fine too.
Booster: I'm not a big fan of REd boosters. Some of the reward boosters turn out pretty well I guess. I don't know the mass of this one, so it's hard to say.
Weapons: A Firespray should have at least 2 L8 REd or L9 crafted blasters. Preferably 2 REd L10 blasters.

YPR is so critical in a Firepsray. i love mine, but it's a big penalty having that fat @$$ for the enemy to shoot at.
Sacrifice speed for extra manueverability if you need. and use the mass for shields and weapons. i have the lvl 10 gauss cannon and the lvl 8 bortel disruptor as my load out, and nice big 2200 f/b shield.

Personally i'd go for:
A crafted Mark III reactor, you can get decent output on them, and mass doesn't play as big a part in the Firespray, so you can splash out a bit more.
A L10 Engine: The stats you can get on these are unreal, 80+ ypr, 90+ speed, and just over 45k REed is the average, but you could get lucky with a 40kish one.
A L8 Reward shield: Best shield thats readily available, 2555 F/B, easy to get over 15 regen, sub 30k mass is easy to achieve too.
L6 Capicitor: L8 would be over kill with just 2 weapons, these can RE really, really well. I have a 1300 max 50 regen in my Heavy X wing.
Any DI: Just not a 20k+ mass one, something with 14-15 speed, you can afford a but more mass with the Firespray
L10 weapon: These are some of the most lethal blasters. The damage can be immense, aswell as the Vs. the only problem is..the refire. Which you can remidy by putting a..
..L9 weapon: Now before you all start laughing, mating these with L10's is a very good tactic for heavier ships. Its basically the beefed up version of putting a L7 and L8 together. One has alot more damage, but spits it out slower, the other have less damage, but spits it out alot quicker. Well REed these can get over 0.670 on Vs, and i've seen them with over 3700 max unREed. The refire is also similar to L7's.
Then fit in whatever armor, CM and Ord you can.

OK, reloaded and juggled some parts. The cap that I originally had in the KSE was sawpped for the one from my Krayt

currently no ordinance - still playing with the loadout - next up for replacement are theDI(done), Rear armor, weapons juggling. I have an ELite Annihilator that I may try to shoehorn into this thing.
Chassis is capable of 211552 mass
Now, another thing: My brother (statho-intrepid) has always had a hard time using the stage four overloads. Personally, I use RO4, EO4, WCapO4, and WO3 - loaded in that order and the ONLY time I ever had a problem was trying out the Belbullab. With the B-22, as soon as I fired RO4 the entire system shut down. The borked part is that this was using the parts from my Syck Heavy except that I dropped the Booster (not enough mass on the B-22) and in the H. Scyk I never had any problems.
