Thread: 3 yachts?

I've noticed that it is possible to fill the three ship spaces in the datapad with yachts. Is this something that is considered to be a non-exploit?
That is, am I likely to have two of them deleted in a 'fix' to remove this (assuming its a bug)?

nope this isnt a bug but it isnt recommended if you actualy want to fight in jtl with ships

I'd almost certainly think it's a bug or at least not intended use for the Sorosub schematic. I can't imagine the devs intended players to have 3 ships with 100 item storage each with no lot cost and I certainly wouldn't put anything of value in the second two ships you wouldn't mind having poofed.

the question is would you want to have 3 Sorosub and not have any room left for an actual ship that can shoot

It's not a bug and it's not an exploit. The developers have indicated that the Sorosub deed could be used multiple times. It is working as intended... but I don't imagine you're going to do much space combat in those luxury liners.

I know a few people who use this (crafters mainly) and I don't think it was unintended, but I agree it seems a slightly unfair advantage of 300 items of storage with no lot cost. There are people who are totally uninterested in going up the Pilot trees, and make use of the Space space.... whether I'd call it abusive, I honestly can't decide. They should get some advantage from JtL methinks. *shrug*

They raised item limits and removed the lot costs for mp ships, sounds intentional to me. I'd have preferred they didn't removed the lot cost though, now there's another reason not to raise datapad ship limits

For a person to have 3 of em is stupid and defys the point of jtl really, but i like the idea of still being able to get more, i have a yt-1300, krayt and my sorosub
