Thread: Moving up the ranks

I got another newb question.
As I'm working my way up the ranks of pilot, I'm wondering if it's possible to get missions from anywhere, or is there a path you follow?
I started by training in Tyrene. Eventually that guy seemed to run out of missions and told me to go runmissions for a chick on Lok. Now I'm on Lok running missions for her - I just disabled a Lambda shuttle and recovered Imp plans for her. Now she's gone to generic protect the corellion tranports missions. Does she or any of the trainers periodically come up with new missions? Do/Can I go to different trainers around the galaxy and get missions for my level or do I need to wait for her to tell me where to go when she is done with me?

if your bored though, and want xp try running some of the missions the space stations give out. I particulary like the yavin missions. good tier 2/3 missions with an interesting plot.

bqasically when you get all of the tier you are on, she will tell you were to go next
