im having touble on this mission, its the first mission when you get transfer to the emperor's retreat, the mission says to travel to the waypoint and inspect a mercenary courier, i have to blow up the courier's enginee,which then inspect it and then try to dock the courier so i can get it cargo.when i try to make the courier dock a message appears saying ship has denied the your request to dock. what am i doing wrong

I could be wrong, but I think that you're supposed to wait and either another ship will show up, or something. Either way, something should happen withing a couple minutes of you disabling the ship. Did you try disabling the reactor too? maybe that would trigger the rest of the mission.....

how do i disable the reactor

simple really, you have inspect the ship not dock with it

but disable it anyway because you'r going to have to dock with it aftherwards anyway hehe.

think the inspect key is either "U" or "I" *shrug* it's in the ctrl+"a" under space

you can select what system you want to damage by using the [ or ] keys, most of the time it's reactor and engine, and on the bigger ships you can target individual turrets or weapons
