Thread: Is anyone else experiencing a no damage bug with Mssikss's mission?
The ambush waves are white-boxes - I can't attack them at all, yet lasers from the red boxes I can't damage AND weapons' fire from the white-boxes can damage the transport. The white-boxes don't even bother with me.
Details:
* I'm Imperial, Ace Pilot, Black Epsilon Squadron
* I fly a JSF
* I was a combatant at the time, not that that should matter
**Pre-attempt**
- At first Mssikss wouldn't give me the mission because I had the 500 units of organnometallic to still mine and evidently you can't hold two missions in the same sector.
- I finished up the mission but didn't go see Capt. Koh before taking Mssikss's mission and launching.
**First Attempt**
- Thinking a possible hyper-script upon attacks made on the escorts, I decided to engage and disable the transport first, and mop up the escorts.
- Unfortunately for me, the capture went fine, only for me to realize I couldn't damage the escorts, now turned interceptors. This was not a lag situation, hits were giving me the "buzzer" sound.
- All ambush wings were white-boxes and could not be attacked. The freighter didn't last long once the Y-Wings got involved.
**Second Attempt**
- I went and got a second quest. Again, I didn't stop by Capt. Koh.
- Same BS, only this time I noticed the initial escorts were white-boxes. I put a single bolt into the transport to get things started, only to find I couldn't damage the newly red-boxed fighters.
- Rather than hyper out, I tried something else I found a little strange - I successfully called a Bomber Strike 3 on the transport, and my own guys destroyed my escort target.
**Third Attempt**
- I haven't tried this yet, but I'm taking precautions:
* I'm using my RG Interceptor just in case it's a JSF-related bug.
* I've completed the mission by talking to Captain Koh, satisfying that mission arc. It's my HOPE that not officially ending the quest is what's screwing this up.
* I'm flying the mission On Leave - not that this would make a huge difference anyway.

I'm just interested if someone else is experiencing the same thing.
I attacked and destroyed the escorts easily, and then discovered that the transport is white and cant be disabled !.
I'm in a JSF when I did it, have not tried it again but I will do today.
Upon putting the bolts into the freighter and disabling it, the fighters aggroed - again I was unable to damage them. So I decided to try an in-system hyper jump - this just succeeded in turning them white cons that took up their original position behind the ship.
Unfortunately, the ambush fighters didn't do the same thing after another in-system hyper (I thought I might be able to work around it if I hypered after each wave).
Will someone please tell me if the FG1-A (from their own personal copies) will perform better on ANY of the following stats (given yours as a benchmark):
560.6 hp/armor, 1649.5 reactor drain, 13661.1 mass, 1910.1-2953.7, .611/.623, 20.3eps, .320 refire.
Screenshots would be most helpful, but typed details would help too. I really don't give a damn about shot color - I just want to know if I'm missing out or if I can just tell Mssikss to screw off because he can't give me better than I already have.
I had this problem last night. The only ship that was not "white-box" was the frieghter, so I disabled him. After I took him down, the fighters aggro'ed me, but I still couldn't damage them and oddly enough they could not hurt me either. Being a stubborn fool, I stuck to the mission. I could not attack any of the spawns and they could not hurt me, but I found if I shot at a ship or two of each spawn, most of them would keep busy trying to kill me. I also flew directly behind the frieghter as much as possible, trying to provide cover for it. I must be a lucky stubborn fool, because the frieghter hyperspaced out just as I was getting scared the fighters would destroy it. ![]()
I'm Imperial Pilot, combatant, and was flying a Firespray at the time - not sure if that info will help determine what happened. I didn't have any other missions in Kashyyyk space at the time.
Unfortunately, I tried aggroing the ambush fighters, they shrug me off and keep firing on the freighter. Could you enlighten me and possibly others to the stats on your FG1-A?
More than likely I'm thinking the Wookiee fighters were coded wrong. They should be true neutral, but probably weren't coded that way.

Ok, I just did the mission with my Alt (what can I say, I'm a sucker for a blue laser): Imperial Ground, on Leave, RSF Ace. I could attack the fighters, but not the frieghter. Luckily, I was able to call in a low level hired gun (Imperial Ground, on Leave I think, Inquision 1212) and he disabled the frieghter for me. Not sure, but I don't think he could hurt the fighters during the escort.
As for stats of the FG1-A, they are randomized like all RotW rewards, but here are the two I got (first second):
- Energy Drain 2379.9 2252.7
- Mass 17708.0 18531.5
- Damage 1515.6 - 2704.1 1617.7 - 2747.8
- Vs Shields .612.607
- Vs Armor .449 .461
- Energy/Shot 26.5 26.6
- Refire Rate .348 .345

wow, that's a nice lvl 7. Where is it from did you say?
Eyma rewards it. That one's damage is higher than the Boltdriver's max - mine was rather unremarkable in any stat.

Strange... I don't remember getting that one, and its not in my warehouse and I haven't RE'ed any lvl 7 guns lately. Hmm.
