Thread: We need more rare loot in space!

With the amount of crazyness surrounding the fabled blacksun ace helmet im sure many space lovers would enjoy the chance to aquire some other rare drops in space, these could be in any form really from furniture to pieces or armour, or even cybernetics that look good!
I dont think any new space loot should be as rare as the BS helmet because to be honest the drop rate on that is just insanely low, but something that takes a while to get in game without makingyouwant to throw your joystick out the window would be nice.

The ability to buy reward components both past and present with prestige points would be a welcome addition, though we've got more chance of Jesus doing the Macarena than getting the pre-nerf L6 and L8 engines back into circulation.

The level 8 engine that Nym gives out for one of the rewards is a pretty good engine. The stats on it are a little random, but the one he gave me is 96.8 speed before REing. And engine like this is definately better than the pre-nerf level 6s, and since pre-nerf level 8s are so incredibly rare, an RE'd version of Nym's new reward engine is going to put most pilots at the top of the game as far as engines go.

I wouldn't mind actually having a good use for prestigue xp instead of just going into deep space... unless it is for something else i dont know about?

Yeah, mine was 91.6 :/
It'll RE to 96.1, .2 more than a pre-nerf L6.

I see a small flaw....if you have more rare loot then it isn't rare

No offense but did any of you guys read my post? im not talking about upping the component drop rate or letting you buy stuff using prestige. I guess I'll clarify, what i want is more things like the BS helmet, things that are rare but NOT components, like decoration or pieces or armour that you can strutt around in.

sure it is, by more rare loot i dont meanincreasingthe drop rate which would make it less rare, i mean more as in a greater number of items and each one would have a low drop rate.

umm what quest is this? can any faction do it? where do u start?
