So theres two types of space exp right? pilot prestige and space combat, my question is that if I want toresign from the smugglers pilot guild and join the corsec pilot guild. can pilot prestige exp still be used to level up in the boxes or do I have to earn all the exp again? I have about 4 millon pilot prestige exp atm and I'm ready to do some damage in my heavy syck. Oh yeah will I still get the double exp bonus or will that reset as soon as I resign my master pilot satus.

Once you drop pilot you lose both the normal xp and the prestige xp you currently have. So you will have to earn all the xp again. Double xp bonus only applies to starship combat xp. It's something you get for previous masteries.So you won't lose it when dropping, you'll gain it.
Don't drop pilot while under the influence of an entertainers inspirition buff. You'll be stripped of 110% of your xp and will have to work off negative xp as novice pilot.

Thanks for the info I also heard if you have mastered pilot twice you get triple the exp and so on.. is this true. and to resignI go to my starting trainer right?

You get an XP bonus for every faction you have had a master pilot in. Three times privateer is still only double xp. 1 reb, 1 imp and 1 privateer mastery is 4x XP.
