Yes, the information is correct. RSF is Imperial aligned, CorSec is Rebel aligned. And as my SA frineds say, SA = Shoot Anything.
ive done corsec and you can attack anyone, same with sa
RSF is the only one with restrictions
Also something to keep in mind is that while you are loaned out by the SA to different crime groups you are restricted againstattacking NPC spawns affiliated with that group. For example, while you are working out of the Lucky Despot for Lady Valarian inTier 2, all Valarian ships are non-attackable by you. Moving on to Jabba with Hutt affiliated ships, etc.
It naturally follows that this would be the case, but I like it personally because it adds that mercenary feel to Privateering, which should feel mercenary. Always flipping sides...
The downside to it is finding that nice juicy spawn for high XP and maybe loots, then seeing that it'saffiliated with the Tier that you're levellling currently...
