All ships have hyperdrives. Just tell him you've got one, and you're good to go.

All player ships have hyperdrives. He's probably asking you if you have a ship with a hyperdrive, just say yes.

ive already bought 2 ships from venders and he onlys gives me the choice of saying "I need a hyperdrive!"
