Thread: Black Epsilon squadron

I haven't heard much about this squadron, I'm an Inquisitor at the moment, and I'm thinking about doing the BE squadron, how are the missions. I've read the post about storm, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that one. I've also mastered Havoc rebel, so I assume I'd get 3x exp. (double for havoc and 3x for inquisitor).

Black Epsilon is teh Shiz. I liked it much better than SS (storm squadron). But be careful, I think the first tier 3 or tier 4 mission is the longest mission in the history of games.... sheesh. It's like a million escorts and 2 destroy shuttle mission. Pain in the booty. I personally solo my PvE missions so this one was tough. I finally figured out the power of calling in a Bomber Squadron and also packed some Space Bomb 1s just in case. Once that long, tiring mission is over the rest is a cakewalk.

BE definitely has the hardest Tier 3 of any Imperial squadron. The T4 grind is positively docile compared to it.

You will indeed get 3x XP.
Black Epsilon is tough because of gunboats, Storm Squadron is tough because of A-Wings, long escorts and a tendancy to run in to tier 4 spawns not belonging to your mission.
