I just managed to make Master Pilot (CorSec), and decided to head to Deep Space. Now I can't leave ... when I try to hyper, it fails, and I'm now unable to maneuver or accelerate/decelerate. The only ways I can move are hit the booster and autopilot to a WP...

since your in deep space, your ship is not going to suffer any decay from you blowing it up. the only bad thing is you will get a couple hundred wounds, but who cares about that.

I found another way to move, and this one re-enabled combat (once I tried to hyper, I couldn't actually hit things): disconnect and reconnect. After that, I just went over to the ISD and took a shot at it, I died nicely.

Also, I just received a response to my "I'm Stuck" ticket ... apparently, being trapped in space like that doesn't count as stuck! It's a good thing I could help myself find a solution, you sure can't count on some CSRs to help you find one...
