Thread: What's better than a pre-nerf DI found on the bazaar?

Answer: the pre-nerf "Inferno" I just picked up on the Corellia Bazaar for 5000.

Even better would be finding a pre-nerf Haor Chall for that price.

Just some friendly advice if you intend to pvp with that engine. when you go to RE it take your time. Do not settle for anythign less then 70 YPR, it will take some time looting, but it will be worth it in the long run.
My personal opinion is that this day and age, its all about the YPR you can get out of a L8 engine (75+). If you get a top of the line RE job on a prenerf L6 its still in the running, but if not, its going to be a problem later on. My prenerf is a 69 YPR RE job, and every time ive used it against someone with an L8 engine, i just get out turned.

I agree. Level6 engines just don't really cut it in PvP anymore. However, if the ROTW ships ever get nerfed, some light fighter configurations with level 6 engines might come back into play.

No, we're both on Radiant. And when I picked it up, the "time remaining" on the sale was 6d 23h and a few mins...
As for REing it... I already have a 71.2 Roll engine, and a 70.4 Pitch. I'll wait though, for hopefully 71 everything.

I havea 71 PRY 95 speed level 6, with very few exceptions it does fine in PvP. In fact, the one time I was absolutely outclassed was an Actis with a level 10 and an 85 PYR.

prenerf DI if i remember correct seemed like lev 1 droid interface with like 15 speed and 300 mass.. inferno was an engine too hot for its level and too light.. mines 98 speed and like 9k mass..
