As of yesterday evening I am a Privateer Ace.

Just wanted to share that with the rest of the world.

Had 2 missions left to do.

- Kill 30 ships in Kessel

- Kill Corvette

The 30 ship killing took me a couple of tries since in my impatience always went for the gunboats and was too impatient to have my shields regenerate fully.

But that wasnt all to hard after I just went for the small starships.

Then the corvette.

Go to the spawn point. No corvette there.

Asked this guy to come along, he was 4333. We hang around. Time goes by ... crap ... need to pick up girlfriend.

When I come back in I see nothing has changed, still waiting for the vet.

Asked for some additional back up from an ace friend of mine. And just as I finish messaging him I see the vet, under attack from both imp ships as rebel ships.

I rush over want to target the weapons, but there are none left.

Completely baffled I aim for the first subsystem and start firing.

I get the message "you have disabled the ship".

I stop for a second, hold on, those guys might be waiting for someone. Having done damage to one of the subsystems I halt my attack for a second to see if anyone else is attacking still.

I hear the sounds of attacking lasers all around me, I continue and within seconds the vet is toast.

Honestly the vet was SO easy. Didnt even get shot at once.

No the money grind begins for the YT-1300
