My question is this;
Will we NEVER get our badges, or do we just need to wait until the respec period is over and then we'll get them? Becausethe latterI would be perfectly fine with. I just want an answer from someone who knows.

Dude, posts like yours should be banned. It has no relavance to this topic and only downplays the thread. Even if it's a redundant thread, that gives you little to no scrupples or manners. Even if there is no point to coders, or customer support, your counter argument is mute. This is a forum. Shame on you. The post saying this thread was pointless was perfectly relevant. SonofKash has agonized a LOT over this whole dropping thing (many many threads and posts), but never once did he bother asking about his badge, etc. firing up 3 more threads on how much injusticehas been done him isn't going to help anything. Especially since it's forum policy that any and all petitions are ignored.
It was made clear in Announcements, in patch notes, inlogin/transit splash screens, and any other way imaginiable except carrier pigeon, thatbadges wouldn't be awarded during respec. There were tons of pilots posting here about feeling frozen, and really, anyone paying attention should have realized,"hey it might be a bad idea to drop if I haven't earned my badge"
since the cu hit ive mastered smugglers allaince, corsec, and arkon's havok and havent gotten a badge for any of them.
i dont really care though, since im not a badge collector, and i dont see 3x xp when grinding pilot agian to be that big of a benifit.
Dev's won't help, they'll say they gave you fair warning and to live with it. Piloting isn't that hard to master, anyhow.
