I'm sure this is an old question, but I couldn't find an answer in the forumns, so......
I'm a rebel pilot, working on my second tier. I have a mission in Yavin where I am supposed to get some info from an imp shuttle. I can scan the shuttle, but I can't get the information. My jurnal tells me to /dock to get the info, but when I do, it says dock request denied. How do I get the info?

Whenever you need to dock with any non-friendly ship, you have to disable it first.
Target the ship, hit [ or ] to select engines, and blast away until the engines are gone. Then you'll be able to dock with it.

No problem.
Yeah, the keymap in-game 
The default keymap might be in the paper JTL manual, but I don't remember off the top of my head.
