Loot runs from a certain spawn/system/duty should be judged after 30+ hours. Never after a few. In other words, your experience is perfectly normal and has nothing to do with P24 or hotfixes.

These posts ALWAYS happen after every patch/publish. I could set my watch by them if I wore one.

Yes, the 'LOOT' button has been turned to off since Pub 24. Time to scare some worms...
Thanks SOE.

Yeah. Sure. I loot 3-6 hours a night, and talk with other pilots who do the same. Have been doing this since JTL launch. And from pub 24 to now is over 30 hours. I consistently record the loot, the drop rate, and the level of various spawns. No, I will not post it or share it, it is my info; get your own.
Why are no Slayn & Korpil Vortex/KSE RCT-Z dropping lately? Why were they dropping with 0.0 rates a month ago? Why for a week did they jump back upto 20-35k/25-47k energy output? Do you even know where they drop? I have not seen one for a while now...they turned off after one of the hotfixes.
But yeah, you should not take one mission, or one spawn or one sweep of the galaxy to determine this. I would not waste my time posting info if I were this unreliable.
But this I will tell you...fishing holes that used to drop loot at a 25% rate are now dropping at a 10% rate. Old holes that were dropping at the 10% rate (which was most of them), are now dropping between 1-3% (hard for me to get a good sample, have to shoot thousands of ships to get a good rate, and that is NOT my idea of worthwhile activity in space at such low drop rates...) However, I did fish from 7pm-12am EST tonight, and got reports form several others who spent some time fishing; loot rates were back up for us all, as well as dropping more quality pieces. Have to see what the morning brings..
Take it with a grain of salt...I could just be lieing to discourage you from looting in space (leaving more room for me..)

Dev posted a while ago that lootdrops use a random number between 0-9999, that's a hell ofone big table so looooooooooong absence of stuff like the reactor is within bounds.

Yes it is a long string but you should avg loot more then 1-2% this is rediculous. And yes I am keeping track (sorta) I have a 1m credit chip and I have 201 parts to show for it.... all from farming DS either I am super unlucky or yea space nerfed.

I get a 1 million chip from doing 4 tier 4 BS duties in a row. I consider a 10 million credit chip from a single spawn a good dataset.

Well I have 26 lvl10 guns sitting awaiting RE and none of them are on par with my previous lvl10 guns I have RE'd, all the stats are mediocre on them. Lvl10 engines are the same have around 20 of those sitting gathering dust as well.
