I just stumbled across this thread in the Shipwright forum, thought my fellow pilots who had not seen this lovely thread would enjoy it:

FINALLY, those of us that love flying our POB ships will have a major use in groups! I've always felt that they were useful, thougha dmittedly it was hard convincing others at times that it was true. Now? Any group that didn't have a POB ship picking off the guns on a Corvette would be wasting time!

the Y8POB's and others aregonna be a freakin monsters wich they should be.. 10k+ shieldings, 7k armor, 5k guns... possible multiple overload of engine 4 and wep 4.. oh and the engine.. i'm so glad I havent dropped MSW yet..

i'd say if your gunners dont blow them after 3-7 strafing runs (other players) there going to blow that POB, but that beats being blown byonevolley of shots.. Plus possibly with elite engine running EOL4.. its not gonna be easy to blow POB's after this, the ones that are pimped out to the max are going to be beasts...

plus if you had a serious crew with several player engineers (repairmen) it would be insanely formidable..

hope they allow reloading of ordanance from inside POB (i guess they shoud fix it so it locks on again first)

I really love publish 24!
It's all about fixing and balancing, and thats exactly what SOE should be doing!
Not more bullcrap in the game with nothing but bugs, but great fixes and balanced gameplay!

I really hope they will fix space pvp in pub 25
