Thread: when entering alliance tier 2 what is better

which is better as the first skill box to grab in alliance tier 2 the y-wing longprobe or equipment 4 & 5??

I'd rather take 2111 myself, and use paired L3 guns on the LP. Then again, last time around I decided to skip the Y-Wing completely ... if you're flying one of those, it can change.

If your using a heavy z95 the equipment 4 and 5 everytime.



If your using y wings, either would be an improvement. The y wing long probe would give you a second weapon slot while the equipment 4 and 5 would let you upgrade all the parts on the y wing and still not be close to the mass limit. Personaly I'd go for the equipment 4 and 5, the two cert 3 guns might be better total damagebut upgrading the shields, engine, and other parts would be more important to me then the little extra bit of damage.
