Thread: Rebel tier two mission Bugged???

Im having a horrible time trying to do the rebel pilot mission in Yavin for the tier two boxs Its the mission where you have to inspect a imperial transport containing imperial codes, but everytime i inspect the ship then try to dock with it, it refuses to let me. I have disabled the ship and tryed it and i have blown the ship up like twenty times now with no change, it just respawns and i try again until i get angry and blow it up without inspecting the ship Anyone got any ideas or hints about this problem or am i just stupid and missing something about the mission???

Look on the brightside, at least the shuttle spawns for you. I wait 10 to 15 mins, nada. So I abort the mission, fly back to Yarvin and upon returning to Lok, still no shuttle.

I am a rebel pilot 2 2 2 2 also, and am working towards completing the 'destroy Kuat Freighter' mission from Lok.
Whichever way I try it, I always pick up a fighter on my tail and get pummelled beofre I can turn to the freighter.

The one time I did concentrate on the freighter first it zipped off early stating I was too late.
Do I need someone to fly alongside me tocomplete this? Someone must have done it, can you give me some tips please?

you have to disable the reacor of lamda shuttle to dock with it.

Instead of starting up a new thread... I ran a "Search" for Rebel Teir 2 Mission bugs... because I just encountered one very similar to what is described in this thread.
I was given a Mission from my Teir II Rebel Pilot Trainer on Yavin4 to intercept an Imperial Shuttle in the Lok system, carrying important information salvaged from the Death Star debris field. It's being taken to Naboo and I am supposed to intercept it as it passes through Lok Space.
Ok fine I get to Lok Space and go to the Waypoint I have been directed too and told to wait for the shuttle to arrive.
Only... I waited 20 Minutes!
I was about to give up, abort the mission and Hyper jump back to Yavin when the shuttle suddenly arrived.
...and by the way, the mission turns out to be an ambush for you once you disable the shuttle and inspect it. It activates its self destruct timer and then a trio of Level 2 Interceptors show up and attack you. Blow them up, and the mission is done.
But still, waiting 20 minutes for that shuttle has got to be a bug!

i posted a thread like this a few days ago, seems like this mission is bugged. didn't try waiting for that long at the wp though (although i got my mission from a women on lok instead of yavin). someone told me to just fly around the sector and look for a shuttle but i destroyed like 20 looted the data and still didn't get anywhere
