Hi all. I am returning to the game after a year and half break, and have a question concerning the free respec. I wasn't planning on using it at first, so I worked on getting some experience in the Pilot Profession with the help of an old friend, but now I am thinking I may want to check out a few Professions I never bothered with in the last go around. Will I be able to keep the progress I made this weekend on Pilot if I respec my character?
I apologize if this question is redundant, I didn't turn up anything with a search.

I dont think you can respec any pilot skills, and even if you could you wont lose any skills unless you surrender them in the respec process.
One thing i will say is dont rush to respec till you are sure as I know so many people who used it up and wished they had waited. This is especially true for you as you have not seen professions post cu

Only if you choose to surrender the pilot skills during respec.

Your pilot skills are safe. They cannot be respecced and are not affected by respeccing other professions.

Alright, thanks. I wasn't sure if I clicked the repec button if it would just return all your points to you and zero everything out, or if you would have a choice to gradually shift things around. I wasn't planning on touching Pilot if I didn't have to.

No automatic return of points, you'll have to surrender each box. And as said before, pilot can't be respecced.
There's also a cancel button in the respec window, so you can play around without too much worries. Just don't hit OK after dropping everything as some people did. ![]()
