Thread: I have bypassed the bugged Kash station mission and got the reward (the adv Xwing)!

Well i have fixed the station missson for the Advanced X for myself!

First, the problem,

- I was bugged from the first day of launch in this mission. Yep the emya sending you to rian, rian sending you to emya, etc, bug.

So how did i beat it?

Well, along time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I had a character, Cuchulainn Darklight, a ranger, a pistoleer, a part time BH.

In those days Jedi, were few and far between, so few in far in fact that the sound of a glowstick would draw a massive crowd.

Then came something new, the VILLAGE, by now jedi were obvious and I though "Hmm, maybe ill get attuned to the force!", 2 hours later I had village access. Several months later I still hadnt been.

Why?

JTL!

I was a MSW and 4444 pilot in beta, and when it got to live (after a months wait for the UK(hence my buying it from some euro country place)) I was flying. Flying and suddenly one of the best around.

I met these guys, from a guild, and despite being solo for well over a year I joined up because they were nearly as hot a stick as me in an Xwing. From then on, I was a member of LRDP (a guild that in my estimation, is probably the preeminant space guild of on Chimaera, perhaps others too (and has expanded on the ground exponentially also, no doubt due to their legendary pilots exploits).

Then ROTW comes out and at the time, after 6+months not going for the village quests, im working my way through FS. Of course I buy ROTW for the Adv X, as the X wing is the quintessential Xwing pilots ride.

1hour after I launch it im bugged!. So I drop a squadron and go for the JSF (which I now hardly ever fly), and when the fix comes in im still bugged. So I go back to my FS trials and finish them.

1 month ago I creat my alt, and nick his bandolier for my main character (alt=wook, main=human).

Today, I took that a step further. In 2 hours my 0000 pilot was 1211, and I was in kessel (no programs, all starting equipment and his loot). 2 hours later, I was 1222. 2 hours after that I was the proud owner of a advanced Xwing chassis (if that doesnt show how unbalanced a heavy starter is I dont know).

I dropped it in my house and my main picked it up. All i have to do now is grind my cl72 jedi main (he spends too much time in space) to a good level. Then I can solo the Lord Cyssc mission on the ground and in space.

So to summarise, to beat the Kash space station mission bug you need,

1 day to get force attuned

6x3weeks to complete the village

1 day to creat, level and, get your alt to get your reward ship.

And you have beaten SOE.

P.S. Over the past 4 days I had 6 CSRs tell me (exactly the same) "The development team is aware of your issue, unfortunately we do not have an ETA for a fix!", in Live Chat, despite the fact i HADNT TOLD them what my issue was!

Got to love those mindreading CSRs!

Can I be grumpy, miss the point, and say, "Ah, so now jedi is required to finish space quests?"

And there I thought that subtle point would have passed over most peoples heads hehe.

You dont really need to be a jedi, you just need your 6 FS trees filled, and your trials finished, then you get your alt to do it for you! Then you dont have to bother going jedi, or copy me and do it REALLY slowly whenever you are on the ground for an hour or so.

By the way my post means, you can also buy a RG Int, or advanced X from a privateer and still fly it. Thats the easier way, but at least this way you at least do the mission even if it isnt on your favourite "chocks away" pilot toon! And killing all those baddies on the escorts and the completing the Kash corvette when a 1222 pilot is pretty cool it has to be said.

They have fixed the bug where you get stuck in an endless loop with the station lady and the ground guy. I dont think they fixed the people who had already chosen 'they are weak' though.

I got bugged 1 hour into the day of release of ROTW.

The problem I believe is that the bug is fixed, and everyone bugged was fixed. HOWEVER, if you swopped squadrons (or faction) between release and bugfix, your mission will stay bugged. Hence me being bugged from the day of launch. Until now.

Im still bugged, but have the reward, which the CSRs said they couldnt give me. Well, you couldnt give me it but I could, your useless at your job you fools!

AND I have had my components ready for it for months!

At this point I'd usually say, 'Or you could just fly an A-wing', but that'd be too predictable of me and besides it doesn't apply to here because X-wings, advanced or not are cool.

Nice one mate. I don't think I'd spend all that time doing it that way, but it works so cool.

Advanced's get ugly gerbil cheeks instead of a sleek cockpit

I think the hamster cheeks look cool. You could also pay for another account and do it that way, saves 6 months FS etc I just need to get my second advanced X-Wing on my alt. I already have my 2nd JSF, but I must say, the facttion ships are becoming more of a draw again for some reason. I have been flying my Advanced X-Wing and A-Wing, and leaving my JSF at home.

Oh, he's in my guild Nice words about us there cuch, and to clas me in the sme league as you too /blush. Makes me proud to know you feel that way. But you're still a pu$$y for using texture 3 texture 6 FTW!!!! Hahaha

Cheeky git! Lets see you do the Kashyyyk rebel escort and destroy corvette missions as 1222 pilot with no programs and definately not your flying bathtub of death!

hmmmm....
now this thread shows, that he may have the advanced X-wing.
But he surely has not tried to fly it (else he would have noticed, that he has to complete the quest)
No quest badge, no ability to fly it.

On a sidenote:
I think, that this mission is not bugged!
Some loudmouths are getting their just punishment
