Thread: Question about getting hit.

I fly a Royal guard interceptor with a 117 speed engine in it and i was wondering why when i get hit that the shot registers on my shield but doesn't do any damage. Is the shot just grazing my shields or something? ive seen this happens alot in DS even in a fight with another pilot

I hear the hitbox is borked on that ship, so when they hit you they are actually missing you , to get 'hit' someone has to hit the top of the ship

yea the fight i was talking about was witha rebel atis pilot. he eventually jumped out because i was flying around like a homisidal maniac and kept getting behind him would've killed him but i think he was intending to kill off the ISD but i was getting rid of some "stuck ships" that where attacking it and makeing some lag while i was near it.

Also, just because graphically the shot hits the shields doesn't mean the server registers the hit. Frequently you'll notice you'll hit ships and not cause damage, and if you watch the ship stats you'll see damage when you don't think you actually hit them.
