Thread: Trainer won't Train me, SS tier 2

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a newb pilot. I've Aced RSF, Imperial Inquisition and Black Epsilon solo, and anyone thats ever done the Tier 4 exit mission for RSF will tell you thats a heck of an accomplishment in a Rhykxyrk. Anywho,I'm trying to do all the Imp pilot professions but this one is chapping my bum.
I've finished every mission for the tier 2 trainer in Bestine and he keeps telling me to go to Yavin IV, but I'm only a 1-2-1-2 pilot. I've done all 4 missions for him he just wouldn't train me, despite the fact that I have the exp to fill a Tier 3 box already (yes I know that doesn't require exp, thanks 8).
Has anyone ever had this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Its not a problem, you actually do switch and go to Uavin4 Imperial outpost at that level.
I'm 4/3/3/3 Storm Squadron right now, when you get to yavin4 you do one mission i beleive and get trained.

Go to Yavin IV. Pay attention to the trainer. You've been transfered.

So you're saying this squadron actually sends you on to Tier 3 before you've actually finished training in Tier 2? That seems a bit borked and isn't the way any of the other squadrons work that I've flown for.. but hey, I was looking for a challenge, I'll give it a shot or twelve when I get home from work tonight.

No, There are 2 Storm Trainers on Yavin. One finishes tier 2 and then you do Tier 3. It's an elite squadron man, think out side the box. Unlearn what you have learned.
Oh....and get ready to chase A-wings.

Does this mean Captain Denner really has nothing to do with Tier 3? I may need to change the Storm Squadron trainer list...

Which one is Denner? Is he the ground commander?. I dont remember names. JAFO to me.

Field Commander Alozen is the 2nd half of tier 2 on Yavin. Captain Denner is the tier 3 trainer/sadist.
