Thread: An Idea for Capitol Ships

I was Climbing in to bed when i had a moment of Clairty, so here i am typeing this post at 1:00 AM


From what ive been reading on the fourms alot of people have been wanting some kind of PreReq for The Capitol ships, other than just master pilot...


Some have gone as far as say, "guild leader" or The Proffession "Squad Leader"


This cannot be, There can Be No Ground Skill Prereq for ANY Space Skill


however you can have A Space Skill being a prereq for a Space skill,


what i thought of was haveing master pilot be Required to go to a new tree of pilot "StarCraft Commader" or something like that, ill let some one else name it...


This new Tree would Start with the Novice Ship being the Gunship of the Faction, and Some New An Unique types of other ships for Climbing the tree, with Corvettes Being Master..


The other skills in the tree would Act Like Squad leader for the ground, But not Requireing it.


what im saying is that any other Ships/Fighters in the group with The "Commander" would get A Bonus of some kind, like faster Hyperspaceing times, or Better Droid Command times, perhaps Better Missile Lockon times, and Etc. etc.


Allowing the ships to enter Formation.. this would largly be More for Role Playing, but it would also look cool. and thease Formations would Give the Ships A Defencive Bonus? (its just a Theory) with what ever it Effects getting better as the skill goes on..





or if none of this Floats your Boat, thats ok, Just Make it so only master pilots can get and fly the ships, and thats it....
