Hey,

I did the Ace mission for Crimson Phoenix - destroying the Star Ravager in Kessel. Now, I went back to the NPC, Admiral something or other, and he does not award me Ace status. He simply tells me to go back out and complete my mission.I got a system message stating that I had completed the mission upon the destruction of the Corvette, and it has been recorded as complete in my quest log/journal. I destroyed three turrets and the secondary shield.

I did this mission with three other now-Ace-pilots. Theywere allawarded Ace status. I logged in and out, and I took off and landed. He is still telling me to complete the mission. The mission isn't even in my datapad anymore. I'm going to go out and try it again tonight; I'd just like to know if anyone else has experienced this, and if there is a way around it.

I had the same problem. Just delete all the other space missions in your datapad and talk to him again.
