I'm a master freelance, rebel colonel, Jedi knight was wondering if it is even possible for me to land at the rebel base on dantoonie, i can land at jabbas and thean imperialbase on yavin that if i rmember correctlywas taken over byrebels but not sure on this as i ahven't visited yet, but it is an option for me to land on. ...a safer landing/ take off zone would be great...

Ask at the space station, he will give you a mission for that

Actually the Imperial base that was taken over by Rebels was retaken over by the Imperials after JTL came out - it is now a Tier 3 fighter base for Imperial pilots....

Don't know why the moderators/devs still have it listed as such in the "Ten places to go" list in the advanced guides/usersection of this very web site...

okay ask dant station and run a mission there thanks...also..glad i didn't shuttle into yavin outpost...that would have been interesting...
