i get a wierd error when i try to equip my newly bought Y-wing:

[player_utility]:cannot_manipulate.

this is when i try to equip all kinds of equipment on the Y-wing.

what am i doing wrong?

I presume you are at a starship terminal when trying?

other than that maybe you are certified only for the Ywing but you bought and are trying to modify a Ywing Longprobe?

Someone had posted something about having the error relating to Starship Components that may be dropped on the Sorosub. Apparently the game may still relate those to being available for management from the Starship Management Screen but since they are not in your inventory "directly" it registers that it can't manipulate. It may be speculatoin but anything is worth a shot... have you dropped any ship components in the Sorosub?

Graulmaster'sreply looks right- - i got exactly that message when items were in my sorosuub - -still showed up on the component selection screen. Try fitting an engine you cant manipulate into a krayt or kimo - -it chops the ship in half!
